Default MSD help

So i ordered an external blaster kit for my GSR and the cap does not fit on. The holes done line up and the screws they provided are much to short. So two questions, is is possible that my GSR is using...something other than a GSR dizzy?? Second, has anyone else had this issue?

Is your gsr 94-01. If so your part is mislabeled. I looked at msd s website and it lists the part number on the cap pictured as for 94-01 gsr w/ TEC distributor.THose screws can be changed from your old cap.

Its a 97 GSR. the old screws and the new ones are the same length, just the screw holes on the new cap are obviously much deeper so the screws are too short. I guess im wondering if there are any other dizzys that work on a GSR..perhaps its a y8 dizzy or b16??
