msd 6al

is there a limiter built into the 6al? i have mine hooked up and i put in the 8400rpm pill and my tach was saying like 9000rpm and i naver hit the limiter

the 8400 module should work and you rev should only go to that number. the msd could be bad.

did you make sure to calibrate for 4 cylinder? what i mean is did you remember to cut the wires that it says to on the back of the msd box?
