so i put in a new alternater and i was a dumbass and forgot to unhook battery so there was a little bit of sparks but when i went to drive it the mph gage wasnt working. i checked all fuse's under hood and dash and even replaced the mph sencer. but yet its still not working...help please

 

I'm guessing you touched the alternator charging wire to some where on the body of the car?

that should just have popped the fuse in the underhood fuse box.. any CEL's? are you sure the new speed sensor was working correctly and is the right one?

 

do you know what fuse it would of blown under the hood? cuz i checked them all
