Default MPG question

I have a 95 civic LX. I am looking to get a little more power out of it. my situation is that i drive it as my daily driver about 120 miles a day. i was thinking of a cold air intake and a performance exhaust. will this effect my gas milage, and is there a performance exhaust that is not loud (i.e. "riceburner") Thanks all.
Jeff

Contact Hytech and see if they'll make an exhaust using their twin loop muffler. It's surprisingly quiet.

get a greddy exhaust exhaust. They are quiet almost like stock. I have one for sale if interested. Also you will probably see better gas mileage as long as you drive it just the same as now. I drive 200-400mi./day so I'm in the same boat. I put an intake and headers in and drive it easy and have gotten imporoved mileage. The exhaust I have is a greddy PE (like the evo) and is purchased for a coupe, but from what I understand it also fits the 4-dr if anybody knows otherwise please let me know.

No there isn't an aftermarket cat back exhaust that isn't "riceburner".

Custom bent exhaust, 2inch ID, cherry bomb muffler from autozone, magnaflow muffler, keep your catalytic converter. It will sound great (quiet like stock), give you a good overall power gain, slightly better mileage, and cost you little. If you add a header and an intake it will get louder but not too bad. It sounds better to me.

your kidding right? Have u ever listened to a greddy exhaust b4? When I had it on my car I couldn't tell by hearing it. It is very quiet and plus it's street legal sound.
