Default motor throwing code 8, tdc position, how do i fix?

i was jus workin on my car an when i started it it thru code 8 which is top dead center position, what is this an how do i fix it? thanks

Its a sensor in the distributor, check the wiring first before you go and take the distributor apart, b13 and b14 should be the wires for TDC at the ECU

thanks redzone, man right after i put the new fan temp switch on i started my car to check the engine temp an the check engine light came on readin code 8, i checked all the wiring an it looks fine so i doubt any came loose or nething but ill check again tomorow,hopefully thats it cuz i dont wanna have to buy another dizzy, i jus put the swap in like two weeks ago

the pinout i gave you is for obd1, if you need obd2 pinout then i can get it tomorrow at the shop.....did the fan switch work out?

yea the fan switch works now an it doesnt overheat,my cars obd1
