i have recently came across a 1990 civic wagon/wagovan/shuttle. its the 2wd automatic model. the transmission or something is going out. i dont feel like doing the complete auto to mani swap. so im looking at doing an auto swap. either h22 or b20 into the d series wagovan.

my question is, does anyone make a motor mount setup to swap an H or B automatic engine swap into a D engine bay?

 

No one makes a kit that i'm aware of. I can almost guarentee you you couldn't even fit an automatic H22 in there anyway the manual is already pretty tight and the automatic unit is considerably larger. When it comes right down to it, its far less work to do an auto to manual swap than to try to keep it an automatic anyway.

 

alright well that sucks. h22 was only considered for the horsepower and torque. i dont plan to haul stuff but i plan to tow my integra on a wheel dolly. an auto b series would fit but i need to find a motor mount.

Theres some pretty extensive wiring as well to keep the automatic, just as an FYI.

 

yeah im really wanting to find a 90-91 DA auto so that i can get all of its engine bay! i know a guy in town that makes 4x4 rigs, he said he would love to take on the challenge to make it work. if i get things done ill keep it posted.
