Default Motor Mount Question

I know that aftermarket motor mounts cause less engine movement, but what preformance advantage does this give??

I am just wondering b/c I heard about doing thw "window urethane" trick to make some more solid mounts.

Thanks!!

The motor will torque (twist) less in the engine bay.
The disadvantage of having urethane inserts or mounts, is the vibration.
I have inserts in slightly broken stock rubber mounts.
Anyone crack their windshield yet on a shift to 2nd?
