My b16 isn't boosted yet but I just finished window welding the torque mounts.

I'm going to leave the other mounts alone because i don't want the engine to vibrate the chassis so much that my teeth fall out of my skull.

I'd recommend window welding the torque mounts like I did, and possibly an engine damper.

Does this significantly help your mounts? And does it vibrate your whole car! like the urethane inserts? Or does it keep the stock feel?

Be great alternative to remove my inserts.

You just buy some 3m window weld and fill in the holes on your stock torque mounts.

It feels just like stock, maybe it vibrates a little more..but i can't even tell, and my whole front end feels tighter.

I just did the 2 torque mounts (a/c and tranny)...the other motor mounts would probably vibrate a ton.

Jeez....just spend the $20 bucks and buy the ES Motor Mount inserts. I daily drive my EG with inserts, stiff springs and soon all stiff bushings too, its not that bad with the vibrations..............wussies.....

I agree, the ES mounts are cheap and just slide in. Why even bother with window weld?

Something starts to rattle. Then something else joins in with the rattling. Until finally your whole car is one loud chorus of rattles that overpowers your stereo system and drives you crazy (on a good day)

I bought the full urethane motor mount kit, all 5 of em, and the tourque mount ones are falling out already so I think I will try the window stuff, and the DS one (97 Civic) is pretty shitty looking. I havent had a chance to put in the other 2 cause its a pain in teh *** and Im lazy I need some traction bars. My car wheel hops like a bitch
