Default motor mount bolt question

ok...i found a 14mm bolt just sitting between the ac compressor and the motor mount...and realized it was one of the bolts that holds the motor mount to the block...i hand tightend it back into place for now, but my question is...how bad is it until i can pull the compressor and fully tighten it? is this causing an oil leak (looks like it was covered in oil)? thanks.-bp

you should ACTUALLY replace that bolt, it is a "locking bolt" and when they come out, its time to replace them. I recently had this happen to my rear mount.

good luck!,

A locking bolt huh? Do you mean a bolt with thread locking compound on it?

no, i don't mean a bolt with locking compound. Like the bolt is useable one time, the first time you screw it in nit will lock itself. I didn't make this up, some guy told me when my bolt came out.

hope ya figure it out! (in the meantime some locking compound would probably work just fine!)
