alright, for those people who were able to get atleast 200whp in their ls/vtec set up. what cams did you use? btw right now i have the b16 pr3 pistons and im going to use a b16 head with stock headgasket. my goal would be 200whp. i know im going to need head work and some port matching but i'd just like to know which cams are up to the job. thanks

 

Get Hype-r cams. I've seen them produce 203 on an all motor gsr engine. There's no reason it wouldnt work in an lsvtec.

 

i think either the skunk2's or the toda b's would do just fine..

He meant Type R and was trying to be funny...lol.
I am gonna run Toda Spec B's in my ls/vtec, until i get my turbo.
I had them on my Si, and decided to keep em a while longer.
I say toda B, skunk stage 2 or 3 or jun 3... all would do nicely in that ls/vtec.
With any of those tuned, you should EASILY hit 200whp, tho CTR cams may gt you there or real close.

Mike, with gears at 0-0 its like normal, the more you advance the intake cam ...the lopey-er.
Mine idled like a cammed v8, but i had the intake cam advanced 5 degrees for max power.
Search for B18cxR on here, for most days as possible, he had a mpeg or audio clip ...of his car idling.. he had tuned B's.
