When i go to crank my motor it turns over, and all, but it wont crank on the first attempt. It most the time will on the second time.


Then sometimes i go to crank it, and it wont start at all, it will just turn over, and not start, but then if i leave it for a while and come back it will start up.

Then i was on a long trip and stopped at the gas station, and turned it off, and it would not start, so after it was even warmed up!!!

 

most likely your timing belt is skipping a tooth. might want to look into that.

 

For real?? sometimes it starts on the first try when it is warmed up, i was thinking maybe the main relay???? or something, maybe also because its a vtec e motor and it doenst have its computer to run it, it has a si's, maybe its some crazy **** to crank it while it has 12 valves????

also maybe the fuel pump, but it eventually cranks so i dont know??

 

I'm not too sure what to tell you but.. If takes a long crank for it to start, your problem is your fuel pressure regulator..
