we had a problem similar to that in a customer car at my work, we realized that with any throttle voltage, the fuel pump would stop working and fuel pressure would completely fall off. it ended up being that the ecu fuse was blown, and the customers vafc was actually powering the ecu enough for the car to idle, but not enough to run. hope this helps cause this car was a bitch and a half to figure out what was wrong.

yeah, if i had a vafc i would check that out...but all the fuses are okey dokey....

but i had like 1/5 of a tank, and now its done to just above E....and i jus replaced the fuel filter too....so gotta check that **** for leaks, then try it again...

but yes, i will indeed feel stupid....glad it runs, but braindead nonetheless...

Mine was doing this last week, i checked every possible thing i could and it turned out my distributor went out. Changed the dizzy and it worked fine, if you have checked the entire fuel system and electrical like i did then it has to be the dizzy.

could be the ignitor in the distributor going bad.

ignitor, coils replaced in the dizzy....plugs ok, wires ok...i mean the engine idles fine...its just when it gets gas, any at all...

i still have to try switching out the tps and mas plugs just for ***** n giggles, but i doubt thats what the problem is.

man, for something so easy, i mean it sounds like a definite fuel problem, but its being a pain in the anus.
