motor is bogging
i finally got my b16 running in my crx.the idle jumps arund...when i drive it...theres no power. it shakes like crazy its throwing a code 6 which is coolant temp. the coolant i put in was some non name brand stuff thats been sitting in my friends backyard for a couple weeks. when i opened it there were little chunks of ice in it but i had to use it b.c it was all i had at 4 in the morning. is this why its throwing that code? and who knows why its bogging. is it a wiring problem? im using a pr3 ecu...and made a subharness and wired the 4 wires up but in slot a6 there was something there and i took that out...someone please help me soon!!! ohh yah compression is great

The coolant temp or TW sensor tells the ECU the temperature of the engine water jacket. The ECU uses this information, along with other inputs, to trim the fuel injector pulse width. If your sensor is bad or the wiring to it is open, the ECU sees a high resistance in the circuit and thinks the engine is cold. As a result, warm restarts can result in flooding. During operation, a rich condition will exist, which would explain the bogging.
B16A into HF? Do this, reset your ecu, and start up your car, but don't go on reverse? It'll idle fine, right? When you go reverse, it'll throw out code 6 and then the motor will idle bad? My HF does this, and i know couple of other B16A HF that has the same problem.
maybe timing is off.....when i timed my zc first time i was off a tooth....ran like **** idled really ruff. I'd try what perfectionist said, friend had a similar problem with a temp sensor like he said.
