I have an Acura Integra LS right now, with an intake and exhaust. I was wondering if anyone has suggestion on what i should do to the engine next. My goal right now is to have it running around 13.0-13.5 in the 1/4. Any suggestions would be great.

 

What exactly are you trying to do? N/A, Turbo, Supercharger, or Nitrous are the choices.

 

well the only way to even get close to that (cheaply) is nitrous....you will not be able to get those times with bolt ons, sorry you own a honda......

 

or turbo, LS is perfect for turbo due to its low compression, but dont go over 7-8 psi on stock internals if you want ur engine to last. w/ some tuning, you should see ~220 to the wheels, which should be enough for mid 13's...

 

Once i bolt on the turbo am i going to have to make any other mods? how hard is it to do a turbo? How much will the whole process cost?

 

yes there are many mods required for turbo, supercharger, nitrous, etc. It will usually be power adder (turbo, nitrous, etc.) then tuning mods (injectors, fuel pump, etc.) do some searches in the forced induction forum to learn more about turbo, SC, and nitrous setups.

There are a couple really good sites out there about how to do a homemade turbo setup that tell you exaclty what you need and about how much it will cost.

yes, you dont NEED other mods, however, i suggest items such as intecooler, blowoff valve, external wastegate, high powered ignition, boost controller......turbo systems are complex...

 

Exactly why I chose nitrous, not as many parts to get confused with, BUT still a high level of tuning skill involved.
