I'm still having cooling problems on my D16Z6. I've replaced the radiator, thermostat, temp. sensor and cap. The fan tests okay, but it never turns on. If I have another bad thermostat and it is not opening, could that be causing a false reading from the sensor...making the fan from turning on? Thanks in advance.

 

Stupid question, but did you bleed the system properly? Are you running the stock sol radiator?

 

Yes, the system has been bleed properly. It's a dual core radiator...the same as the VTEC del Sols, so yeah it's pretty much the same thing as stock.

 

as for the fan, might want to check the fuse and fan relay....seems like you've change just about all thats could cause overheating, but what about the water pump?....good luck

 

Is it eating up coolant? If so it could be the head gasket. That was what my problem was.
