more BS with codes #41 and #9
Well first of all it's a 98 gsr motor in a 92 cx. I got the dizzy of my friends old b16 but it threw the cylinder code and the o2 sensor code. Someone has told me that the o2 sensor COULD be causing me to throw the cylnder sensor code. But for ***** and giggles we rewired the obd2 dizzy (from the gsr) for obd1 and i know we have it wired correctly because there werent any misfires or anything crazy going on...but it STILL threw #9 and #41..THEN i put my friends perfectly operating 02 sensor on it and it still threw both codes. Now WTF They are both universal bosch o2 sensors. Another one of my friends said i "may need to get an o2 sensor that's actually made for an obd1 gsr". He tried a universal on his b16 and it wouldnt work but claims once he got the OEM replacement it worked fine. These 2 things are the ONLY thing wrong with it. Any input is appreciated.

Maybe it is a different sensor that needs replacing. Everyhting hooked up right before the sensor?

Well we FINALLY got the #41 to go away....we messed with the o2 sensor and we reset the ECU. And now it's just a #9. I've swapped the dizzy's between the gsr and the b16 and they both throw the #9. My friend whos b16 it came off of said there are NO problems with it. It came off a running car. Could it be in the ECU or the harness? I've checked a few wired and made sure all plugs were in and no pins were bent or anything. Do the 2 female plugs on the manifold have to do with anything because they arent plugged up...because there isnt a plug in the harness for them. I need to get this thing on the road...but hell at least we got one code to go away. Someone please help if they can.

now put your distributor on your friends car see if it throws the code. if it still does just wire it straight to the ecu to see if that solves your problem.

Well i went to hybrid garage and it said for an obdp72 the cyp's are b11 (orange wire) and b12 (white wire) is this correct? Im going in a few min to attempt to straight wire it to the ecu. Im only going to do those 2 because that's the only code im throwing right now (9).....should i do the entire dizzy to the ecu??
