fyi this does not work..... the connection isn't solid and they don't slide on enough to make it so. i suppose you could cut and dremel the obd2 connectors, but after having my injectors cut out while driving due to this I can't recommend doing it this way.

cut/ splice/ solder is the best solution imho.

damn.... i went to work today and took the blue piece out also and seems like it wont stay on there tightly or will have good connection...... so splice, solder, and heat shrink is i guess the best way???? oh yea by the way how do heat shrink work??? do you just wrap it around it and apply heat to it????

I have jumper harnesses made that allow you to go from OBD1 to OBD2 or from OBD2 to OBD1.... http://kgparts.com/forums/kgp-...t1433

Here is a picture of the OBD1 to OBD2 Harness

Here is a pic of the OBD2 to OBD1 harness:

no cutting up harness, splicing, soldering or wondering if it will work.... I have a harness for just about every connection available. Locally I have been getting a lot of requests for the RDX injector plugs. The answer... YES we do make them for OBD2 to Toyota (rdx clip type) and for OBD1 to Toyota

Don't mean to bump an old thread but just noticed these replies. I have been driving for the last 8 months with my injector clips modified the way this post shows and I've never had a problem with them coming lose or falling off etc, they've been working flawlessly. Not sure why I would have no problems vs others but the fact the mod costs nothing to do it might still be worth trying.
