Default Modifying Motor mounts

I wanted to share my experience with making home made poly urethane motor mounts.

Check it out: http://importnut.net/motormount.htm

as I pointed out on this page, this trick worked out really well and is definitely a nice low budget mod.

Wow that really carries the whole weight of the engine/force of a hard launch? I'm not sure what window weld is so it looks like caulk to me Awesome though, I'm always looking for budget mods to do

Those torque mounts do not carry the weight of the engine. Just the force of the engine torquing over. For example, I was able to take them out without supporting the engine.

Window weld is what any auto/body shop would use to install windows on vehicles. You can find it at most autoparts stores and shops that carry body shop supplies.

try Lord(fusor) 123 seam catalized seam sealer in your mounts. 20 times better than window weld. can be purchased from autobody supply stores
