okay...heres the thing..the motor i got for free..mini me..d166y7 with d16y8 head..i throw the motor in, started and my bro took it for a drive...he said that the motor kinda bogs really almost to dying when you give it gas and then it'll pick up speed..then when he drops it to second the motor dies, he tries to start it. and does not start..he had some people help him push start and just heard the motor start to click when he pops the clutch and it does not start at all..when he got it home we did a compression test and it held no compression at all in all 4 cylinders..before it did 190, 189,190,190.and now it doesnt...this gots me stump..have took the motor apart cause i dont want to yet, has a brand new headgasket and head studs....help would be highly aprecciateed..thanks..

 

did u check ur timing belt?
sounds like it jump............

don t worry about the headgasket clean it real good and reuse it with copper spray........

 

thats what i was thinking too..are you sure that i can reuse the headgasket with copper spray...

 

i want to know to..last time that happened to me i just ditched the motor for a new one..
