Default Mini-me questions

Im buying a 91 hatchback and it needs a new tranny so would it be easier/cheaper to put in a zc or to just do a mini-me swap? Also how hard are the mini-me swaps, and how reliable are they? Thanks for all the help

Because it needs a new tranny you're going to an engine swap??? ah well. Anyways, don't do a mini-me. The ones I've seen at the track are all SLOW. I've got the full sohc vtec Y8 running off OBD-I and it goes 15.2 at 88. IMO, get either a ZC if you want a simple, decent swap, or get a full sohc vtec and run OBD-I (better in my opinion, but more difficult due to the wiring.)

Yeah it needs a new tranny and I figure its alot easier to change it with the motor out. The car has 200k miles so I thought why not throw in a zc/mini/me while its out and have a lower mileage tranny to go along cuz itll pretty much be my daily driver. Thanks for all the help.

If your not restricted moneywise just get the b16a1 swap. $1300 for motor, tranny, ECU, harness, axles and mounts from HondaMotorsOnline.com. Just 500 bux more then the ZC and ALOT more potential. my 2 cents
