milled head question
if you mill it .030" your timing will be off by -2 degrees, so set your cam gears to +2 to true them. So, by advancing the intake cam gear you will be advancing the dizzy too....so i guess if you want your ignition timing to be at OE specs then you would need to advance it a little bit....b/c if your cams are retarded 2 degrees then your dizzy is too b/c its attached to the intake cam.
i hv a q uestion too. i hv a h22a, so the dizzy is on the exhaust cam..i mill my head like 35 thou..and my cam gear is set to 0 now..i use timming gun to check my timming and it's 17 degree on idle...is it correct or i need to move my cam gear..cuz the car seems slow. i hv stage 2 cam

Advance your cams 2 degrees, then play with the dizzy. 17 is correct though.

Your cam timing still won't be correct and odds are it'll have more of an effect on power than will two degrees of ignition timing.
