My friend has a pretty nice nx setup and is having problems with melting plugs. He has built bottom forged sleeved all of it msd and all. Every time he use's spray it melts a plug before one gear is done. its always diffrent plugs, never the same. His timing is at 6 degress, has also tried 10 degress. Its a adjustable 25-300 direct port setup on hondata, with a seprate fuel cell and pump. Any info would be great full. By the way it just started doing this random one day at the track. All lines have been checked.

 

possibly the fuel solenoid is stuck closed??

 

brand new top of the line, had the same problem with the old ones even on there. I would say his timing was off but he ran for 2 months and then one random day it starts happening.

 

does he have it setup where it only pulls timing while on spray like off an msd or nitrous control?
