Default for the mechanically inclined

what is the conversion for lb/ft of torque to lb/inches? then in lb/inches what should i torque my cam gear bolts to the cam? thanks to whoever replies i just am confused on the directions of my torque wrench and my hayes manual doesnt have the torque specs for the cam gears.

yea multiply by 12

1 ft lb = 12 in lb

It is foot-pounds or inch-pounds, not pounds/foot etc. The conversion is multiply by 12...
