What is a cam doctor? There are not many import shops here in MO. Thanks for the reply.

Basically it is a support to hold the cam, a dial indicator to measure lift on the cam lobe, and a degree wheel to determin the duration of lift. About all you can measure with calipers is the overall lift and base circle with no info on duration.

Cam Doctor is a computerized machine used to check cams, I doubt any "import" shop has one, but a good domestic engine builder might have one. I know Philadelphia Racing Engines has one. I'm thinking there has to be some kind of marking on the cam- part number or something on the end that could tell you

The ring are usually the ID but the guy claiming they're fake says that even though the ring are present they are fake.He says that because the cardboard box they came in has one flap instead of two, that makes them fake.

I was hoping to show unargueable proof that they are ITR cams by showing that they have the correct lift and duration.
