Default Mating Floated Pistons to Rods

I'm in the process of assemblying an H22 Block. I checked all of my main bearing clearances, and then began mating the Probe Rods to the Wiseco Pistons. Let me tell you it was a pain in the *** to get the piston pin all the way in. After I had the piston pin installed I noticed that the Rod was not perfectly centered in the middle of the piston. Let's just say that the rod is not freely moving on the Piston Pin. Is this normal? Do I have to remove one of the pin rings and recenter the rod on the pin? Or will it center itself once the engine breaks in? I used a heat gun to try and make the installation easier, but it was still tight as a mother. Does anyone have any suggestions on piston to rod installation?

you should take the pistons and rods to a machine shop and have them hone the bushing in the rod for a better fit. they should move nice and smooth. no extreme force should be needed to insert the pin.
