Default master cylinder question/swap concern??

Yes, it seems like I have to replace my Master Cylinder in my '92 civic hatch si with four wheel rotors. I have bleed them numerous (and I mean numerous). I was looking at getting the same Master Cylinder that came with the car, but came across a post that said upgrade the MC to get more response from the brakes. My question is can I use a regular GSR MC and install it to give my car better response? Will it bolt right in without any modification? Also, do I have to do anything with the Proportioning valves? Or should I just stick with the same type that came with my car? Any suggestions and/or tips will help. Thanks again in advance for the help.

Stick with your SI master cylinder if you want a 'true' bolt-on replacement. If you're gonna upgrade to a GSR mc you'll have to get the booster as well. I'm currently doing mine.

thanks man, I guess I will stick with the stock si master cylinder... too much work at the moment and not enough time/resources. i'm not a master mechanic and I always seem to screw something up.
