Which mark on Pulley for TDC...
Alright, having some timing issues with my car and i'm pretty sure it's retarded(can't check because the timing gun just crapped out) because my cousin used the wrong marking on the pulley to set TDC. My cousin used the very last white marking to set TDC and I thought(its been awhile since i've last done this) that you're supposed to use the middle red mark out of the three that are grouped together for TDC. Which is the right one?
Use the white mark off by itself for setting the camshaft sprockets.
When you set the spark timing, you use the red mark (middle of 3) if your timing light doesn't have an advance dial.
Or if your light has an advance dial, set it to 16 or 18 or whatever, then use the white TDC mark.
