MAP Sensor question for B16A EG coupe
I have 1994 Civic DX coupe with a B16A installed, w/ just I/H/E and a VAFC. It was dyno tuned previously with the VAFC and a Skunk2 ECU, but the Skunk2 was making it run really rich, and hindering the emissions test. So the previous owner replaced the ECU with a P30-mapped chip, and put on a new catalytic converter. Since the chip install it has been throwing a CEL, which we identified as the MAP sensor, and could possibly still be causing problems with emissions, because its beginning smell like it did before the cat got replaced. My question is, from these syptoms, do you think it is a problem with the MAP sensor? And if so what would be a good replacement model? any other suggestions or hints as to other things it may need are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Resolve all check engine lights by replacing the map sensor etc..
Also get your self a better basemap.
All civic/integra map sensors are the same. Go to your local junkyard & buy one or try ebay.

The p30 basemap is fine...
The skunk2 program is usually too rich which causes bad gas milage, black rear bumper etc.
