Default Manual tensioner bolt?

How do I go about replacing the bolt on the timing belt tensioner. I stripped it so now I have to get it out (should be easy) and replace it. My question is if I get it out, does the tensioner stay in place or is it gonna move? If it moves I obviously have to take the plastic cover off and that requiers removing the crank pulley and whola lotta other stuff. Has anyone done this? Please help. I thank in advance for any replies.

If you remove the bolt, the tensioner pulley will move, the bolt is what holds it in place.. so If you are going to replace it you will have to remove the t-belt covers, crank pully and all that other fun stuff..

Thanks. So in other words - the process really sucks. Oh well I guess I'll learn not to strip bolts anymore.
