rebuilding my block for stock ls motor.....i couldn't find the letters stamped on the block for the main bearing journals letters/color...but found the following on the crank......

b2, b2, b2, b2, b2........on the crank

3, 3, 2, 3....................on the rods

what color bearings do i need for the main bearings and the rods??

any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

 

on the crank you should have *4* letters and *5* numbers
on the block on the oil rail by the trans side you should find 5 letters.
you match the 5 letters with the 5 numbers to find main colors
and the 4 letters and the 4 numbers off the rods to find rod colors
