Default machining caliber bracket

ok so here is the deal. i have a 95 integra gs. i just bought a set of wheels and when i went to mount them the front caliber bracket is in the way. most people run wheels spacers but the wheels are already wide and a low offset so i didnt want to use them. what im wondering if i could machine/shave some of the caliber bracket off so that the wheel will fit. the bracket mounts on the spindle and wraps around the rotor. i have searched for hours looking for some info on this but all i can find is the write up on how to do a itr brake swap. someone please help me out on this.

i dont want to hear anything about getting new wheels or anything about running low offset wheels. thank you.

"the from part of the bracket"

As long as you do not interfere with the "structure", [removing material in places that would weaken the caliper or bracket, interfere with the pad mounting, or compromise the hydraulics] you should be OK, keep in mind, the caliper is a heat sink of sorts, so if you do remove material, remove as little as possible. 94

its the part that wraps around the bottom of the caliber in the front. the bracket is too close to the middle of the rotor and i just need to remove a little to get the wheels to fit. i think that i would be ok i just wanted to see what someone else thought about it before i did it. i know im not the first person that has needed to do this or have done it.
