Dam that horrible didn't see the A/F ratio, you should at least put down 175.

Go to discount & buy a compression tester.

if that is a pull to seven or eight thousand rpms then the vtec is engaged or it would not climb it would fall off around five or six thousand thats the whole purpose of vtec is to have a higher redline, never mind u know that already.i could just be a weak motor i have seen ls/vtecs put down horrible numbers.just the luck of the draw.

Is it an auto as your name implies? That'll sap some power.

Do

1 - Leak down test
2 - Compression test

If those are good.

Remove camshafts and spark plugs and turn the motor over and feel for crank and ring drag.

If that feels normal it's something to do with fuel/spark/tuning.

that dyno chart is in MPH not RPM and it looks as though its only around 65 mph if that is a 3 gear pull then they did not rev it out that high im still sticking with vtec not working

i didn't even realize that it was in mph, that would explain loss of power, i just glanced at the graph and saw a steady climbing curve.my bad for trying to access to situation and not even paying attention to the graph.

Basically you are checking if the crank can bind slightly and coz power loss. This occurs more often than most people think.

what would cause this? bearing clearances? ring seating?

Crank tunnel not straght. Burrs on the bearing housing, tight clearances...
