how do i install these? I put the pulley on first but then the plate wont go over the key? do i need the crank plate? can somone explain what im doing wrong?
put the key on the crank, slide the BIG sprocket over that, it should seat in there, and put the little piece where its bending going out...not bending going in...but outm you can see what i am talking about it you look at it directly on make sure it bends away from the crank...and i dont think it supposed to go over the key

Ok, im about to put the plate on now in the pic, when i push the plate to the pulley it pushes the key into the pulley. do i have the wrong key? do i need a longer one?
edit: even if i did get a longer key it doesnt clear the plate..............
damn, something just doenst look right...
edit: my gears on the oil pump always had a little key built into it, then i just had 1 key for the crank pulley...not sure what u got there...
here are some pics i am talking about, i'm not sure where u got that oil pump drive, but it looks wrong...here is what i have always had(the pics should work)
see a key made into the gear

on the crank

the key goes in that open spot and the plate goes over that...

hope this helps..
