Default LSVTEC question

b16a1 in a crx

basically im looking at possibly picking up some ITR pistons/rods for a nice price here soon. instead of getting the b16 bored, i figured i would just purchase a b18a/b comeplete block, and put that together. also i have a friend who is selling some ITR cams. basically my question is reliability. how reliable do you think it would be with having the ITR rods in there. anything more you would suggest doing in terms of fuel, etc? not looking to spend a whole lot of money at one time, this would basically be a cheap buildup over the next few months for me, just wondering if it would be worth it. opinions wanted.

ok, so what would you suggest? would i be better of to get a different crank that would match the itr rods, or would that not fit with the LS block? or would i be better off to get different rods to match the LS crank, and just use the ITR pistons with those?

well, itr = gsr or itr crank. in wich if you want to do that you are better off getting a vtec block.

ls/vtec= ls crank(wich has more stroke, hence the increase in displacement) mated to ls rods.
ls rods will be fine, make sure you get arp rod bolts
