LSV fuel system issue
Just bought a 93 EG Hatch w/ LSV.
The car won't start on the 1st crank, but starts on the 2nd, but it requires you to hit the gas. I think this is contributing to the next two more major issues
1. If I turn the car off. There is a noise near the intake. Phone vid picks it up closer to the Recirculating Valve. This noise will not stop unless I disconnect the battery. Normal?
2. If battery is disconnected for a day or more I loose all fuel pressure. I have fuel pressure gauge on the fuel filter. This happened after I found the battery dead when I reconnected it.
The car also had a really hard time starting once the new battery was in. Can not say for sure but it was either very light on fuel or semi flooded.
Just spent the past 2hrs reading up on different priming issues. Most were with the car on. One was a bad ECU flooding the cylinders while off. Wondering if it is slightly leaking injector.
Any idea?
