umm i was just looking at my 96 spec type r and i thought my tranny was an s80 but the transmistion has the letters r4 lsd on it...what is that?

thats just the honda stamp to let you know its an LSD tranny. S80's are usuablly GSR or LS trannies. SC4 is b16 not sure if they use that for the CTR. you can check throught the axle holes and if there isnt a bar throught the middle then its LSD.

 

thanks for helping , but i learned more and thats not necessarily true, s4c(S80) is on the 96 Spec itrs too
