Default ls/vtec won't run

When I start it,it runs like crap and if I try to step on the gas it won't rev up? Fuel is ok,spark is good and I'm using hondata,I put a new head gasket cuz I thought it was that but it wasn't!!?? I'm confused!!!! Help if you can

its the cam timing u need to make sure the to marks on the cam gears line up and the up arrows are at 12 o clock.

the cam timing is perfect, tdc checked it over and over again but still runs like crap!!

if you arent getting any check engine lights or ECU codes, then remove/reposition the timing belt anyway. its really easy to put them on wrong.
if you have something like a small screwdriver (preferrably two) there is a spot in each of the cam rails where you can just drop these in. as you spin the engine over and the cams themselves come to TDC, the screwdrivers will drop into the small holes in the camshafts (assuming OE cams) and you will be able to see EXACTLY where the cams are in relation to the crank pulley.

Make sure you are using the right MAP sensor and its vaccum source is good.
