Default LS/VTEC rods

which rods should i use for a LS/VTEC? i have CTR pistons....just need to know which rods would be best

You can't use Eagles unless you machine grooves for the pin locks/clips into the CTR pistons.

You can run stock LS's but you need to have the small end narrowed by 0.070". Also make sure the big end is round.

and replace the oem rod bolts with ARP rod bolts

you might as well go with after market rods. saves you time and headache on the long run.

Also run ACL bearings. They are much stronger and cost way less.
