what is the difference between the integra ls and the gsr engine block? what makes the ls block so much better, as in ls/vtec? i was thinking of putting the internals of an ls into a gsr block with a gsr head, then no drilling will be needed. I know the ls block is bigger but if it was resleeved would it be the same? please get back to me!

 

ls block has a 89mm stroke and gsr has a 87mm stroke.

 

so can u put an ls crankshaft in a gsr for more torque

 

Yes.

 

You'll be better off resleeving your GSR block with bigger bore cylinders, then dropping in overbore pistons.

 

oil squirters for piston skirt / cooling, 3 middle main cap girdle brace - thats it same bore.
