Default LS/VTEC question

i want to throw a ls vtec in my daily i have a ls motor (needs rebuild) i dont want to spend alot of $ so i can finish my turbo car but anyway i have a 95 gsr head i was wondering if its possible to mount stock GSR or typeR pistons on ls rods and crank to get somewhat of a higher comp ratio??? is it possible or will it hit the valves ?

it certainly can be done, has been done, and people will keep on doing it. You will achieve a pretty high ratio. Don't know exactly how high but around 11-11.5:1 with the GSR head.
