Default ls/vtec install- need to adjust my throttle cable

so im finishing off my ls/vtec install (pray it fires up!!) and i'm going from the normal LS intake manifold to the GSR, and so the throttle cable bracket is a lot closer on the GSR. is there anyway i can get rid of the extra 3" of cable? motor is in an ej1 if that helps any.

thanks in advance

Pretty sure you need to adjust it from the pedal to properly shorten it.

you cant adjust that much
if you get creative you can put something behind the rubber cable stopper on the pedal to make up for the slack
