I dont know the exact measurements, but I would just tell you to buy one from the dealership so that you always have one on hand for measuring. They are relatively inexpensive.

Buy a set from Honda and measure them yourself.

your gonna have to get a vtec head to do lsvtec. just measure the dowel holes on the head when you get it. or are you gonna try to make them for other people (as in production) with out actually goin lsvtec yourself? cuz if you are i would just say forget it. your gonna lose money trying to beat the prices of companies already makin them. i always make my own **** ( block girdle, block guard, cam gears, flanges) but i dont try to sell them. i just do it for the satisfaction of sayin "hey i made that".

Well most companies sell them at 25, I can do it local for 20. I recieve free materials, and work in the shop, so there is no lost wages nore cost for materials for me. I have a H-swap so theres no reason for me to get a vtec head or ls bottom to attempt this.

ill get u the measurements by thursday at the very latest. i hav a micormeter. i have some laying around at the shop. was going to use them but decided to just do ls/vtec the old way. didnt like the using of a pr3 head gasket that sticks out way past the block. that whole ls/vtec conversion kit seems like a problem just waiting ot happen. so im sticking with the way it was invented. but ill definalty get u those measuremnts if ur trying ot make a few extra bucks on the side

not cnc lathes, but a lathe non the less. i can do everything with acupro and have it dead set on. i work exclusively with stainless and aluminum, so in order to keep the expansion rates based on heat, i will use aluminum.

im not tellin you what material to use, but have you seen the oem ones? they are far from aluminum. and i really dont think your gonna have to worry about expansion on something with a wall thickness of .030. i just made some to dowel my girdle to the mains out of 13mm O1 drill rod so that the critical dimension was already ground. we dont have lathes only cnc mills so that was the easist and quickest way i could think of.

Thats awesome, I wish we were fortunate enough to have CNC capabilities. We have quite a few machines, formost being the vertical mill and the lathe.

i wish we had a cnc lathe or at least a manual lathe. you could machine those dowels and be done in about 20 seconds on a cnc lathe.
