Default ls/vtec back to ls

anyone done this? i bought a car with ls/vtec in it..but i've decided to go ls turbo. Actually tried to search for somethin related to this topic but really didnt find anything. How hard is it to do and would i just need a ls head and ecu?

lots of problems from what i hear..and the numbers seen to turn out better with ls turbo.
