ls v-tech tried search
I am getting a ls block from a buddy for free
and i have a b16a2 head /intake& exhaust mafolds and all the sensors and im wondering what all i would need to make it ls v-tech. Also i am wondering what power the motor will make and what you can rev it to considering that the bottom end of the motor is not made to rev to what the b16 is able to. Any info would be help full ive searched and havent found good info. I am aware of needing oil lines for the head but im wondering what those dowl pins are about?

Yep, all of your questions have been answered before but to get you started here are a few tips.
To make this hybrid worth a damn (if you stay NA) use b16 pistons, itr valve springs/cams, gsr block girdle (its way cheaper than the z10 unit), and upgrade your rod bolts. Else just slapping on a vtec head you'll have less power than a b18c.

I'm guessing he was just trying to get pointed in the direction of any major cliffnote threads. I would take a look at Golden Eagle's kit that they make for LSVtec with No Machining Required. The guy from Golden Eagle post on this site some times.
