Default LS tranny with 4.4 FD

If you added a 4.4 FD to an LS tranny would it accelerate like an Si or GSR tranny?

I dunno whatta 'traddy' is (short for "trick daddy" perhaps?), but a 4..40fd in an LS tranny won't make it "like" an Si or GSR tranny. It will give you a bit better acceleration, but still falls short of Si or GSR tranny spec.

it would accelerate slower than it would with a 4.40, but, since the gearing is a lot closer than LS gearing, I think it would still beat out an LS tranny w/a 4.4fd.

Why would you want to? Doing this would hurt your acceleration, but then again it would probably give you three or four more miles per hour on top speed, even so it's not worth the tradeoff.
