Default LS rods B16 eng

Has any one ever tried to use the stock Integre LS rods in an otherwise stock B16 engine or does anyone know if there is any reason they wont work (too long?)

I would imagine that they are too long. I'm not sure of the length though. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Far as I can tell the LS rods are 2.6416mm longer than the B16s

arias makes a set of pistons that you use a b16 block with an ls crank and rods. 11.5 compression and it basically runs like an ls/vtec

You don't have to sleeve it. Thats only if you want to make a 2.0 displacement.

Why would you have to bore or resleve the block just to put a longer rod in an otherwise all stock B16?

The arias pistons with the raised pin start at 81.5mm iirc.

Too long. Won't work, unless you add a deck plate and do some other modifications but after all of that work it's not worth it, cost-wise.
