ls rod....question???
pulled the pistons for complete rebuild on an ls block that i bought and i a notice one of the rods was marked with the number #2 and the other three rod were marked #3....i have found some newer rods and pistons from another ls motor ......
question is can i replace the number #2 rod with an diffrent number rod say like a #3 or so? or do i need to stick with the old rods?
thanks

no it is critical that you use another number 2 rod... the number refers to the size of the big end.. for use when replacing bearing...just my .02 if you dont know what you are getting into better to leave it to the pros...
