LS with Greddy Turbo is bogging, help, anyone!!
Car is 97 Integra LS with Greddy turbo setup and Type 31 FMIC
Koyo Radiator, radiator cap, 2 slim fans
I just recently had all random cylinder misfire CEL lights on so I got new plugs, wires, and distributor put in. That took care of the CEL lights but now the car seems to bog after reaching 5k rpm , especially in 3rd and 4th gear. I noticed this a couple times before I had the plugs and all replaced too. Just noticed the bogging tonight and its bad.
Timing is slightly retarded. The car is running on the stock piggy back system. And the tailpipe has really been pushing out a lot since the turbo swap. Running rich too.
Could it possibly have anything to do with the fuel pressure regulator, or the timing. I'm going to change my oil tomorrow, its been about 4 months since I last changed it but the car was sitting in the garage all that time.
What do you guys think, any suggestions would help. Lemme know if there's anything else you may need to know.

Where any changes made to the piggyback system? i know that if that is altered at all and you are running too rich the car will bog. If you have an understanding on how to change the setting and turn down the fuel try that to see if the bogging clears up. The bogging doesn't have anything to do with your oil. Also if it is too rich you may be fouling out your new spark plugs. when they replaced you plugs if they ut in a hotter plug it may foul easier than what you had in there before. The stock plug calls for a heat range of 5 you are going to need at least a 6 or 7 on a boosted honda. let me know if you need more info on this subject.
I'm running the NGK BKR7E-11s, those are the copper ones, and I believe that the -11 means a .11 mm gap which is like ~.042". I'll have them gapped a little closer.
Are they supposed to be gapped between .28-.30 or .028-.030?

Correct me if I'm wrong but is it that a stronger spark is given when gapped closer? A tech told me that it would be better for my car to be gapped higher than .042, does anyone know what point he could have been trying to make by gapping them farther apart instead of what (~.028-.030).
