does anyone know anything about LS/non-Vtec ECU upgrade or performance chips

 

It's possible to tune the LS ECU with such products as the A'PEXi SAFC which would be recommended as you can tune your particular engine to make the most out of what mods you have rather than just using some universal chip.

 

You could use an SAFC in conjection with a aftermarket chip, but you're not going to make power with an SAFC by just adding/subtracting fuel, without fine-tuning your ignition maps, like an aftermarket chip can do.
