Default LS cams....

aftermarket cams....
running allmotor now and turbo in the spring...

will i need diff. .cams.. or will the all motor cams work with the turbo set up?

Ideally you would want less duration on turbo cams. What all motor cams are we talking here, 404's, 403's? something similar?

Short answer- get smaller cams unless you like a peaky power band

Mostly true but, for some reason boosted honda cylinder heads (especially the B series vtec heads) don't mind making power w/ long duration cams. There's a Couple of dyno graph comparisons on here w/ ITR vs. GSR cams etc. and I've even seen the 402-t's be out powered by 403's in a boosted LS. It all depends and it's sort of a gamble. Cams is the last upgrade on the list for a boosted honda IMO.

Yea, the bigger cams can outpower the smaller cams, but the tradeoff is in the power band. Plus, VTEC cams are a whole different animal on turbo engines becuase of the smaller primary lobes.

Meh, its up to him. If he wants to have huge power at the cost of drivability, its up to him. Plus, drivability is subjective anyway...
